About The Role:

Specialist - Corporate Performance will be responsible to the execution of AD Ports Group Strategic Plan through facilitation of the strategy map cascading process across all AD Ports Group Clusters & Support Functions, implementing Balanced Scorecard methodology and strategic initiatives as well to monitor and report on performance against the plan and targets set (including objectives, performance measures and strategic initiatives). To facilitate the development and formalization of the Corporate Performance Management concept and process across the organization. and also will be contributing to collate, to evaluate, and to undertake analysis against the annual corporate performance plan process and the allocated measure's targets and to propose a corrective action and improvement if applicable and maintain the custodianship of Abu Dhabi Ports Balanced Scorecard and the Strategic Initiatives database by storing historical and current performance data when available in control set.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support in facilitating the development of scorecards for the corporate, clusters & support functions and obtain the required approval on the final draft
  • Maintain strategic initiatives implementations as per the master schedule
  • Issue periodic performance reports to monitor strategy implementations across Abu Dhabi Ports levels
  • Support the development of the annual corporate performance plan considering the performance evaluation stage and corrective action that may be required
  • Review and evaluate the Balanced Scorecards selected objectives and measures through ensuring a matured and effective objective, measurable KPI, measure data availability, challenging target, measure calculation methods validity, risk management considered; and to obtain the required approval on final objective and measure profile draft
  • Contribute in facilitating the performance review board meetings & issue the reports and minutes of meetings after management review if required
  • To prepare structured and comprehensible reports and presentations for corporate performance overview as required
  • Track the report issued and maintain an updated log of the periodic performance reports submitted
  • Ensure the updates and changes are reflected as per the change communicated on the Balanced Scorecard and strategic initiatives, and maintain an updated log of the change request made on the measures and/or strategic initiative profiles
  • Provide support in reviewing and updating the department process and add inputs and lessons learned during the review stage for continual improvement purposes
  • Consider saving the historical Balanced Scorecard and strategic initiatives database in proper and systematic structure and manage to obtain the stored descriptive data when it is required
  • Experience in implementing Corporate Performance Management framework, aligning organizational goals, and executing strategic initiatives.
  • A deep understanding of the organizational industry and competitive landscape.
  • Adaptation at assessing the impact of strategic decisions on performance metrics and adjusting the rollout plan accordingly.
  • A proficiency in identifying and mitigating potential challenges during the rollout process. This includes proficiency in change management, understanding Balanced Scorecard Methodology and Key Performance Indicator, and the ability to design and implement measurement systems.
  • Strong project management skills, familiarity with technology platforms supporting corporate performance management, and a track record of successful strategic management system rollout.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to continuous improvement, regularly evaluating and refining the strategic management system cascading process to ensure alignment with the evolving organizational goals.

Required Educational and Technical Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration or Management or any related discipline
  • A qualification and good knowledge in the Balanced Scorecard methodology
  • A qualification and good knowledge in the Project Management methodology
  • A Strategic Planning Professional certification from IASP
  • Ability to understand financial information
  • Ability to comprehend numerical and statistical data
  • Ability to use IT applications to report, manipulate and analyses data
  • Written and spoken English is essential, Arabic is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 year experience and good skill in following up on the plan achievements, and report progress
  • Analytical skills, including the ability to analyses problems and identify creative, realistic solutions
  • Minimum of 2 year experience in Balanced Scorecard Automation System
  • Minimum of 2 year experience in project management
  • A fair experience in Benchmarking process
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritize workload, and achieve deadlines
