Join us and leave a legacy of your own, as a pioneer in both the company and the industry.JOB PURPOSE:Reporting to the VP Regulatory Oversight, the main responsibilities of this role is to support the regulatory oversight efforts and assist with providing adequate regulatory knowledge and input to ensure comprehensive oversight activities can be performed over the application of all relevant rules and regulations that FAB Group is subject to.The role holder will also assist to ensure proper application and oversight of all applicable rules and regulations in relation to FAB Group activity, relating to new licensing requirements, expansion plans, initiatives and regulations as they are received.Key Responsibilities:Assist with efforts to identify the regulatory position around the key areas in the bank and ensure that the regulatory viewpoint is clearly stated and communicated so that FAB remains compliant from a regulatory aspect.Assist in the development of a framework for effective oversight over all regulatory driven activities.Assist in the identification of the regulatory challenges and solutions based the FAB Group’s risk appetite from a regulatory perspectiveAssist in the development of the regulatory oversight framework around the key regulations that impact business functions and processes within the FAB Group as whole to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirementsPrepare reports on matters of regulatory non-adherence to the concerned management with appropriate solutions to ensure FAB Group is not subject to regulatory fines/ penaltiesUndertake validation of management actions are adequate to ensure FAB is compliant with the regulatory requirements and report on any exceptions noted.Assist with the ongoing efforts to provide guidance to senior management over the key regulations impacting FAB GroupAssist in effectively communicating the regulatory position and the actions that need to be implemented/ work around processes and procedures that can be adapted in order to be compliant with the regulatory requirementsAssist VP, Regulatory Oversight in other activities as needed and directed.#LI-SD1Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Management, Banking or Finance, preferably with certification in compliance, corporate governance and risk management.Minimum Experience and Required SkillsAt least 10 plus years of experience preferably in Regulatory Compliance and business knowledgeExcellent understanding of Local, Regional and International RegulationsExcellent knowledge of business banking and operational risksStrong interpersonal, people management and facilitation skills with good leadership skillsPreferably bilingual, Fluent in English and Arabic with strong written and verbal skillsFocused on driving tasks to completion with pace, whilst retaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracyDiscrete and has sense for integrity and handles highly sensitive information with absolute confidentiality.The position requires a UAE national with a family book.
