About our clientOur client is a major global investor based in Abu Dhabi. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and work closely with the Head of Strategy & Asset Allocation in enabling the effective management of the Investment Sector. What the job involvesAssisting in the development and implementation of the fund's asset allocation strategyAssisting in identifying medium-term investment themes and opportunities in the marketMonitoring developments in capital market expectations and provide strategic views and research into new investment ideasSupporting the identification, development/configuration and/or maintenance of investment risk IT systemsEnsuring investment risk data is properly collected and analysed before usageAttending investment conferences to enhance the development of the institutional risk monitoring and management community in the UAEWho we are looking forA financial background and experience working in a relevant fieldAn interest in and understanding of financial marketsStrong relationship management skills and problem solving competenciesStrong market monitoring capabilities, not just across private markets but other related markets, for example, leveraged financeSound judgement and enthusiasm for risk measurement and monitoring, with a focus on the overall portfolio strategyA high degree of economic literacy on private and public markets with a keen understanding of different asset classesA commercial nature when viewing potential business plans and opportunitiesA degree from a top university, ideally in law, finance, statistics, economics, or an equivalent degreeSave roleLog in to apply
