Principally this will take the form of undertaking daytoday monitoring and reporting the adherence of the business. The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for managing the daytoday operations of the Accounts Payable department in a fastpaced and dynamic real estate development asset management and hospitality group. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of finance operations and financial processes as well as a commitment to high attention to detail accuracy and efficiency. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Accounts Payable department including managing a teamEnsure timely and accurate processing of all invoices/requestsMaintain internal & external relationships and resolve any discrepancies or disputes and informing of status updatesNegotiating payment plansManage priorities quickly and efficientlyEnsure that all documentation / requests are in line with compliance and company policies and procedures as well as applicable accounting and banking regulationsSetting up process maps and procedures and training all necessary team members / internal teams on full processDevelop and implement procedures to improve the efficiency visibility and accuracy of the Accounts Payable whole processCollaborate with all other departments including all other finance functions to support overall company goalsAssist in building forecasts and trackers to improve future visibility on upcoming paymentsBuild a strong team that work well together as one team to achieve goalsProvide regular reports on status of requests payments activity and performanceCommunicate group Ageing reportsImplement new process on dealing with incoming requestsManaging increasingly high volumes of email requestsDefine clear roles & responsibilities for team membersPerform other duties as assignedDesired Skill & Expertise:Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable management with at least 3 years of experience leading a teamStrong understanding of accounting and banking principles and regulationsExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environmentExcellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in highvolume transactionsProficient in Microsoft Office/Excel skillsExperience in presenting reports to managementExperience in dealing independently with internal/ external auditorsAccountability for functionUnderstanding of group legal organisation structures with many entities This job has been sourced from an external job board.
