JobDescription: Support the Finance departmentresponsibilities in relation to processes procedures applicablerules and regulations. Principally this will take the form ofundertaking daytoday monitoring and reporting the adherence of thebusiness. The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible formanaging the daytoday operations of the Accounts Payable departmentin a fastpaced and dynamic real estate development asset managementand hospitality group. This role requires strong leadership skillsand a deep understanding of finance operations and financialprocesses as well as a commitment to high attention to detailaccuracy and efficiency.
  • Overseeand manage the daily operations of the Accounts Payable departmentincluding managing a team
  • Ensure timely andaccurate processing of all invoices/requests
  • Maintain internal & external relationships and resolve anydiscrepancies or disputes and informing of statusupdates
  • Negotiating paymentplans
  • Manage priorities quickly andefficiently
  • Ensure that all documentation /requests are in line with compliance and company policies andprocedures as well as applicable accounting and bankingregulations
  • Setting up process maps andprocedures and training all necessary team members / internal teamson full process
  • Develop and implementprocedures to improve the efficiency visibility and accuracy of theAccounts Payable whole process
  • Collaboratewith all other departments including all other finance functions tosupport overall company goals
  • Assist inbuilding forecasts and trackers to improve future visibility onupcoming payments
  • Build a strong team thatwork well together as one team to achievegoals
  • Provide regular reports on status ofrequests payments activity and performance
  • Communicate group Ageing reports
  • Implement newprocess on dealing with incoming requests
  • Managing increasingly high volumes of emailrequests
  • Define clear roles &responsibilities for team members
  • Performother duties asassigned

Desired Skill & Expertise:
  • Minimum of 5years of experience in Accounts Payable management with at least 3years of experience leading a team
  • Strongunderstanding of accounting and banking principles andregulations
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Strong leadership andinterpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in afastpaced and dynamic environment
  • Excellentattention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in highvolumetransactions
  • Proficient in MicrosoftOffice/Excel skills
  • Experience in presentingreports to management
  • Experience in dealingindependently with internal/ external auditors
  • Accountability for function
  • Understanding ofgroup legal organisation structures with manyentities
