Registered General Nurses (RGN s) play a significant role in our client's organization. Their main duties and responsibilities include:
Motivating residents to help restore and improve their health and self-esteemProviding medication to residentsProviding psychological and physical support to residents, family members, and friendsIdentifying resident's care requirementsAssuring the quality of care to residents through adhering to therapeutic standardsEnsuring that residents and fellow employees adhere to infection control policies and protocols, medicine storage and administration procedures, and substance control regulationsEvaluating residents who complain of specific ailmentsExamining and authenticating vaccination records
You'll need a minimum of 12 months of experience post qualification, with Neuro experience being an advantage but not mandatory. All Registered General Nurses (RGN s) will be expected to make sound clinical judgments while role modeling best practices and inspiring and mentoring junior staff to achieve their best.
Our Clients Registered General Nurses (RGN s) will have the opportunity to develop their own clinical skills and work closely with our in-house specialist therapy team to deliver the best outcomes for our residents. Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for regulated activity. To apply for the Registered General Nurses (RGN s) position, you must hold a current PIN number for a minimum of six months before.
On 15th March 2022, it will no longer be a legal requirement for care home employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. However, we strongly advise all staff to meet their professional responsibilities and would prefer you to have received a full course of COVID-19 vaccination.

Requirements
Proven experience as a registered nurse. Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and emergency procedures. In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination) and willingness to follow them at all times. A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsible and outstanding organizational and multi-tasking abilities. Patient with excellent problem-solving skills. Diploma from a nursing school or other equivalent qualifications. A valid nursing PIN.
