Registered GeneralNurses (RGN s) play a significant role in our clients Their main duties and responsibilitiesinclude:

  • Motivating residents to helprestore and improve their health andself-esteem
  • Providing medication toresidents
  • Providing psychological and physicalsupport to residents, family members andfriends
  • Identifying resident s carerequirements
  • Assuring the quality of care toresidents through adhering to therapeuticstandards
  • Ensuring that residents and fellowemployees adhere to infection control policies and protocols,medicine storage and administration procedures and substancecontrol regulations
  • Evaluating residents whocomplain of specific ailments
  • Examining andauthenticating vaccinationrecords

Youll need a minimum of 12 months of experience post qualification,with Neuro experience being an advantage but not

  • Proven experience as aregistered
  • Excellent knowledge of nursing caremethods and
  • Excellent knowledge ofemergency
  • In-depth knowledge of health andsafety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination ) andwillingness to follow them at all
