Monitor and advise on the development phases of projects, ensuring adherence to processes, standards, and procedures.Provide expert consultation on the acquisition and integration of high-performance inertial navigation systems.Review and enhance evaluation techniques for FOG/RLG systems, driving improvements in navigation accuracy and reliability.Identify and resolve integration issues, implementing corrective actions to ensure system performance meets specifications.Stay abreast of emerging technologies to enhance IMU performance, advising on their implementation and potential impact.Mentor and advise team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Collaborate with project management teams to interface with external suppliers and customers, ensuring seamless integration and delivery.Drive the development of new algorithms to optimize IMU performance and enhance navigation capabilities.Provide strategic guidance to management on the long-term direction of IMU system development, contributing to organizational growth and success.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum twenty years' experience in algorithm development, simulation, and modeling, with a proven track record in navigation and/or IMU systems.Education: Master's degree in electronics or mechanical engineering, with specialized training in control systems and optimal estimation theory.Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, driving innovation and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.Technical Expertise: Proficiency in advanced navigation system design, development, and simulation, with a deep understanding of emerging technologies in the field.Visionary Thinking: Ability to think strategically and provide insightful guidance on the future development of navigation systems and IMUs.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
