Job Description- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of efficient data pipelines and ETL processes from diverse sources.
- Optimise and fine-tune data processing workflows for performance and reliability.
- Implement data integration solutions for consistent and accurate data across various systems.
- Work with the IT security team to ensure data privacy and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Evaluate and integrate new data engineering technologies to enhance capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the data engineering team.
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in data engineering and ETL development, with a strong background in the Banking or Financial Services sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Expertise in data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related data services.
