Information Technology Infrastructure Assistant Manager

Job Overview:To contribute to the success of the team and the organization in achieving the vision of the department and Albatha Holding as a whole. The Assistant Manager Infrastructure is responsible for the implementation, operations and maintenance of all non-ERP applications and systems deployed within the corporate computing ecosystem managed by ABH IT.Specific areas of responsibility would be to manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of ABH IT supported applications, specifically but not limited to Office 365, Legal Docs and those applications specifically deployed to support ABH companies.Roles and Responsibilities:Key performance area 1: Business PerformanceManaging technical system administrator and network administrators To plan, direct, and coordinate all ABH IT Infrastructure activities to ensure maximum uptime and availability of all non-ERP applications and systems under the responsibility of ABH IT. To ensure full compliance of ABH IT deployed and supported infrastructure and applications with ABH Information Security Policies.Development and ensures optimum support to all departments and members.To drive standardization and develop standard operating policies for the deployment, operations, and maintenance of infrastructure and applications in line with IT Service Management System principles.To ensure efficient user & access management as per access profileIdentify, investigate, and report on suspected security breaches and review findings with key stakeholders.To set goals and monitor performance of the ABH IT Infrastructure team and the different company IT departments.To audit all group companies on a periodic basis and provide them with a detailed report on IT and Infrastructure related findings and non-compliances.To ensure project documentation is maintained properly and available to all.To comply with data security measures as per information security policies and procedures.To escalate software problems to respective vendors/partners.To drive standardization of IT solutions throughout all Group companies.Good network and market relations with IT vendors, consultants, and offshore companies.To find efficiency in implementing Green IT practices for all IT equipment and devices across sites under scope of supervision. Review IT products and processes to improve their energy efficiency, maximize their use, minimize their carbon footprint, and meet Green IT policy requirements. This includes configuring systems policies and managing installation, maintenance and disposal of old devices in an environmentally friendly manner. Incorporate standardization in IT infrastructure services as per IT Service Management standards and corporate best practices for all services assigned from the IT Service catalogue.To implement application specific recommendations from internal/external auditors.To implement controls required by Federal or Local Government Laws & Regulations.Key performance area 2: Customers and Partner RelationsTo coordinate provision of excellence customer service to all IT users while maintaining professional standardsTo coordinate activities to respond promptly to internal customers’ request for support.To maintain effective working relationships and interaction with users to ensure alignment of IT and business objectives.Identifying and implementing various initiatives to improve user satisfaction and IT support.IT generalist with broad understanding to advise ABH management on different initiatives.Preparing business case, performing POCs, Requirement documentation, Project planning and executionTo collect user feedback to improve service levels and to meet commitments to internal customers.To maintain and update contracts, AMC, and asset register.To implement and maintain supplier performance evaluation standard and Supplier Risk Register To collect IT training requirements from the different divisions and coordinate internal and external training sessions.Key performance area 3: People DevelopmentShould be team orientated, generating a strong sense of team spirit amongst the colleagues and other supporting departments for working towards a shared vision.Establish and maintain a participative and supportive team culture amongst all team members.Communicate clear performance objectives and individual performance targets to all team members.Assist the team in developing measurement tools to give real time information on operational performance.Contribute to building a positive team spirit by empathizing with the team’s commitment to the goals and objectives.Manage, motivate colleagues, train, develop the knowledge and skills of the team and ensure that procedures related to performance appraisals and employee compliance are followed.Advise all levels of management on their responsibilities and accountabilities in relation to IT and non-SAP Application and System DevelopmentKey performance area 4: Leadership/InnovationKeeps the management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified and actions being taken to improve the situation.Ensure commitment and team progress towards the divisional and corporate mission, vision, and core values through monthly team meetings.Prepare formal reports for senior management expressing an opinion on the quality of IT systems and incorporating agreed solutions to process gaps.Ensure timely reporting of security breaches, malware attacks, or any other pertinent information security concerns.Should be a good learning and even better trainer to train the staff on soft/tech skills.Education Qualification and Experience:A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant disciplineIT industry certifications in Microsoft Technologies, O365 Administration CertificationAround 6-8 years of relevant experience as System Administrator/Team LeadMinimum 3 years in similar roleMinimum 2 years of Project Management experienceRequired Skills:In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products, Enterprise Storage systems, Backup and Business Continuity processes, and Data and Voice networksWorking understanding of other workloads like SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Flow, and other misc. Office 365 workloadsEndpoint security management solutions like (Sophos, Crowd strike, Sentinel one)Good understanding of Microsoft CSP/EA agreements, billing, and reconciliation conceptsStrong knowledge on Active directory, DNS (public and private), DHCP, WSUSStrong knowledge on backup, virtualization (including but not limited to Hyper-V and VMWare), Cloud (AWS, Azure), and ability to manage and run a full helpdesk software.Understanding of ITIL and ISO 27001 is mandatory.Privilege access management.Working knowledge of Firewalls and other perimeter security controls.Previous experience operating a high availability service environment.Experience with Network and Information Security.Previous experience in a role that involved IT audits and IT purchasing responsibilities.Experience with Mobile applications and web technologies.Excellent communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders outside of IT.
