The Associate Contract Management Specialist also monitors, administers and participates in change orders, claims and the dispute resolution process both related to our Client contract as well as all subcontracts, insurance claims, etc., all under the direction of the District Contracts Manager or Project Manager. The Associate Contract Management Specialist works with the Project and Contracts Management Team to ensure that the company liabilities and legal obligations are defined, executed, and correctly reported.This position is an individual contributor role. The role directly reports to the District Contracts Manager.Associate Contract Management Specialist | McDermott International Ltd Dubai | Apply NowAssist project teams in the execution of the contracts as per the company policy and applicable regulations.Support and manage all activities related to the internal administration of the contracts.Monitoring of contractual correspondence including preparation of letters and contractual notices in accordance with requirements of the prime contractManage and maintain effective and accurate records of all project contractual and commercial documentation;Assist with internal reporting of all commercial and contractual issues;Provide support in dealing with the contractual and commercial issues to Projects mainly on prime contracts but may also extend to subcontracts, if necessary.Engage in meetings and correspondence with the internal stakeholder, the client, subcontractors, and other third party.Support preparation of technical and commercial aspects of change order proposals, inclusive of packaging final submissions to ClientComprehend, analyze and interpret terms and conditions of contract/subcontract and articulates contract/subcontract obligations to other stakeholders;Administer contract close out requirementsInterface with key corporate support functions to ensure timely release of performance guarantees including retentionAssist in the negotiation of the contract terms and incorporating it to the contract agreement.Review and analyse contracts ensuring its compliance with the company policy and procedures.Assists in the development of procedures, guidelines and standard contract terms.Assist in project monitoring and project benchmarking.Maintain and oversee contract database.Collaborate with the legal team.Participation in financial/contractual audits.Undertakes ad-hoc contractual and commercial assignments and initiatives.Other task as directed by the District Contracts ManagerTypically 2-3+ years of relevant EPC experience in the Construction IndustryDegree in Engineering or Quantity SurveyingDon’t miss out on this exciting opportunity – apply now at dubaiofferz.com
