You will also oversee matters related to employee benefits such as accommodation, meals, transportation, labor contracted services agreements, and legal aspects related to employees/employment.What will I be doing?As a Manager/Cluster Human Resources, you will be responsible for:
Familiarizing yourself with and following the brand(s) standards and pre-opening budget for the HotelsBeing fully updated with all information and strategies related to the positioning & successful opening of the hotel(s)Effective management and performance of all Human Resources activitiesPlanning and forecasting short and long-term talent requirementsMaintaining a best practice recruitment approachImplementing career and succession planningOverseeing training and development strategiesManaging the human resources database and payroll systemProviding counseling, coaching, and welfare servicesManaging employee relations issues and disputesPromoting cultural compliance, non-favoritism & business ethicsSupporting hotel leaders and the General Manager in cases of discipline or grievanceMaintaining awareness of competitor human resources activities and best practicesHaving excellent knowledge of local laws & procedures
What are we looking for?To successfully fill this role, you should:
Have Hotel Opening or Pre-opening experience (an advantage)Have UAE experience and/or GCC experiencePossess Tertiary qualifications or other collegiate-level degree in Human ResourcesHave previous supervisory experience (minimum 7 years, including 3 years as an HR Manager/Cluster/Director in a multinational company within the hotel, resort, leisure, and/or retail sector)Have fluent English language skills; Arabic language would be a plusHave excellent leadership and communication skillsDemonstrate strong commercial/business acumenHave a passion for leadership and creating winning teamsInspire interdependent thinking and reward Team Members for cultivating strong business relationshipsBe able to lead through change & challengesHave extraordinary analytical skills, judgment, and the courage to stand alone on ideasTake action and make decisions that build customer valueHave good knowledge of technology and HR digital operating systems
