We are searching for a self-motivated senior mechanical engineer with a proven record of excellent project delivery to lead a number of company projects. Responsibilities will include working alongside other professionals to ensure deadlines are met, liaising with external stakeholders, attending meetings, using CADD software to produce detailed designs, ensuring all projects remain within budgetary and time constraints, and compiling reports for the board of directors.Responsibilities:
Negotiate with suppliers on lead time, cost and quality & obtain maximum benefit for the company.Review and analyze costs & spends.Offer solutions to better manage costs.Source and prepare lists of reliable bidders and suppliers and compare their products, services, qualifications and prices.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is a MUST.Minimum 7 years experience in Contracting Company handling mechanical procurement.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute the procurement activities.Manage supplier’s performance and propose improvement plans in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.Manage the commercial review of vendors’ prequalification & approval process.Analyze and provide market information; bid estimates, pricing trends terms, conditions & availability of goods etc. as required.Excellent communication and negotiation skills required.
