Our purpose is to uplift everyone, everywhere by being the best way to pay and be paid.The Senior Sanctions Compliance Analyst will provide support for sanctions screening, program planning, execution, tracking and communications globally, with a focus on the CEMEA and Europe regions. This includes ongoing alert management and operational tasks. This role will require a solid understanding of sanctions compliance and support the Director, Sanctions Compliance in providing guidance to Visa clients and businesses.Manager CEMEA Sanctions | Visa Dubai | Apply NowJob ResponsibilitiesResponsible for screening against sanctions lists and provide expert judgment regarding match validityAbility to apply sanctions knowledge, research and analysis to operationalize Visa’s Sanctions Compliance ProgramCollaborate with business units and other stakeholders to obtain additional details for resolving alertsReview escalations and provide expert advice to analysts on how to handle and resolve issues.Support ad-hoc investigations and projects, as neededConduct quality control of sanctions screening alertsProduce reports to monitor the sanctions screening processesTrack issues to ensure they are resolved in a timely mannerProvide support for the creation of monthly reporting to identify Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Key Risk Indicators (KRI) to management and other key stakeholdersParticipate in ongoing development of the sanctions screening systems, including user acceptance testing as neededParticipate in cross-functional sanctions compliance meetings and carry out project plan for roadmapsEnsure close communication and information sharing with global compliance colleaguesThis is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.QualificationsBachelor’s degree requiredAt least 5 years of implementing Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Anti-Threat Finance (ATF), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA PATRIOT Act, and Sanctions programsStrong knowledge of global sanctions regulations and regulatory expectationsCAMS or CGSS certification a plusExperience with conducting quality controlExperience working in a collaborative environment with a track record of building relationships to influence others and gain support around compliance objectivesProficiency in MS Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookHighly organized with excellent research and analytical skillsExcellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated and adept at working independently or in a team on multiple and varied tasksAbility to perform under pressure and capable of working collaboratively with employees throughout the companyProficiency in Arabic a plusDon’t miss out on this exciting opportunity – apply now at dubaiofferz.com
