Our client is looking for a Senior Project Engineer, Middle East Region to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.Duties and responsibilities:The most essential and important duties of the employee include the following:• Leadership of site activities under their responsibility and liaising with customer, their contractor and subcontractors.• Planning and supervision of site work conducted by company's subcontractors and supervision of the work conducted by the client's subcontractor).• Capability to conduct installation, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of products and solutions supplied by the company.• Technical assistance to customers regarding company's shelter products and solutions.• Supporting customers and their designers/engineering/consultant companies regarding shelter design in early phases of new projects.• Supporting the sales activities in the Region by attending customer meetings, events etc., and by providing technical documentation/submittals required by the projects.• Regular reporting on progress of customer projects.• Coordination of technical support activities with company’s technology partners.• Initialisation and development of company’s life cycle support services in the Region.• Other tasks as assigned by the Employer.Skills: • Technical education, preferably BEng/BSc/MSc or equivalent.• Solid (5-10 years+) work experience in a technical role in demanding projects (e.g. construction, HVAC, system integration, engineering/technical consultancy or alike). Previous experience in shelter business is considered as a strong advantage.• Capability and interest in developing solid technical expertise in world-leading shelter solutions.• Working experience in the Middle East.abdel• Sufficient language skills (fluent oral and written English, Arabic preferred, others an advantage).• Works with comfort with multiple projects in parallel, and remains calm also with tight deadlines.• Persistence in the customer interface and the ability to convey the messaged effectively to the customer.
