Study the received Tender Specification, Drawings and EquipmentSchedules in relation to Electrical systems so that the scope is well understood
Prepare guidelines for the scope of work and responsibilitiesthat are included in the Tender documents
Obtain and review quotations for all ElectricalEquipment and materialother than the fixed rate items
Maintain a database for cost price lists for Electrical typicalmaterial and labor man hours cost.
Prepare in coordination with the quantity surveyors lists of themeasured quantities for all Electrical material included in the Tender Documents
Prepare and obtain clarifications on the Tender (Electrical) conflictsor on items of incomplete information from the consultant
Prepare the cost list for all material, required specialistssystem, 3rd party inspection, Tests, Engineering and Labor cost inrelation to Electrical
Complete the Tender Cost for Electrical System using the Departmentforms and save all data to the system network.
Discuss the completed costing work, the Tender Electrical Scope ofWork and responsibilities with the Estimation Manager
Complete the schedules of quantities (BOQ) for Electrical works asdirected by the Estimation Manager incorporating the indirect cost and margins. Requirements BSC Engineering Degree from a recognizedUniversity in Mechanical Engineering.
2-5 years experience with medium organizations in estimation ofsimilar jobs with some experience as Site/ Project Electrical Engineer.
Hard worker who can work under pressure.
