JobDescription:

1.Estimation and CostAnalysis:

  • Leadthe estimation process for electrical components and systems inelectromechanical projects including analyzing project requirementsspecifications and scope ofwork.
  • Prepare accurate and detailedcost estimates for electrical materials equipment labor and otherprojectrelated expenses.
  • Conductcost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs whileensuring quality and compliance with clientrequirements.

2.Bid ProposalPreparation:

  • Collaboratewith sales engineering and project management teams to developcomprehensive bid proposals for electromechanicalprojects.
  • Review bid documentsspecifications and drawings to identify electrical engineeringrequirements and develop competitive pricingstrategies.
  • Present cost estimatesand proposals to clients addressing their technical inquiries andnegotiating terms asnecessary.

3.TechnicalExpertise:

  • Utilizeyour expertise in electrical engineering principles codes andstandards to accurately assess project requirements and developcosteffective solutions.
  • Stayupdated on industry trends technological advancements and bestpractices in electrical estimation to enhance the competitivenessof proposals.

4.Risk Assessment andMitigation:

  • Identifypotential risks and uncertainties in project estimates such assupply chain disruptions market fluctuations and technicalcomplexities.
  • Develop riskmitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize projectrisks and ensure successful projectexecution.

5.Collaboration andCommunication:

  • Collaborateclosely with crossfunctional teams including engineeringprocurement and finance to gather relevant information and insightsfor accurateestimations.
  • Communicate effectivelywith internal stakeholders and external partners to alignexpectations resolve discrepancies and address challengesthroughout the estimationprocess.

6.ContinuousImprovement:

  • Continuouslyevaluate and improve estimation methodologies tools and processesto enhance accuracy efficiency andconsistency.
  • Provide feedback andrecommendations for improvements based on lessons learned from pastprojects and industrybenchmarks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorsdegree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Masters degreepreferred.
  • 810 years of experiencein electrical estimation preferably in the electromechanical orconstruction industry.
  • Strongproficiency in estimation software/tools MS Excel and otherrelevant softwareapplications.
  • Indepth knowledge ofelectrical engineering principles codes standards andpractices.
