The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, analysing financial data, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting laws, regulations and accounting standards.Accountant – Full Time |Purple Rock IT Solutions Dubai | Apply NowResponsibilitiesFinancial Records Management: Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and journals using Zoho Books. Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactionsFinancial Statement Preparation: Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards. Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions. Manage VAT, Corporate Tax calculations and submissionsSoftware Proficiency: Utilize accounting software Zoho Books to record financial transactionsBudgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making. Liaise with external auditors and manage auditing processes. Provide financial advice and guidance to the management teamAccounts Payable and Receivable: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner. Monitor and manage outstanding invoicesBank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies. Maintain accurate cash and bank recordsTax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and national tax regulations. Stay up-to-date with tax law changes and updatesAudit and Compliance: Assist with internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standardsFinancial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and financial performance assessment. Provide insights to improve financial performance and cost efficiency. Continuously improve financial processes and systemsDocumentation and Record Keeping: Maintain organized and well-documented financial records for audit and reference purposesTeam Collaboration: Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to support financial goals and objectivesRequirementsBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldCPA or equivalent professional certification is a plusMinimum 2/3 + years of experience as an Accountant. UAE experience is requiredExperience in a Technology company is plusProficiency in Zoho Books is a mustStrong understanding of VAT and its application in business transactionsUnderstanding of Corporate Tax and its application in business transactionsExcellent analytical, numerical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to handle confidential information responsiblyFamiliarity with Indian accounting laws and regulations is a plusStrong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHigh level of integrity and commitment to ethical standardsDon’t miss out on this exciting opportunity – apply now at dubaiofferz.com
