As a Senior Venture Builder, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing, developing, and launching a successful cleantech venture. You will work closely with a team of four other people to transform an innovative idea into a viable business model, leveraging your expertise in product development and your background in the cleantech/climate industry. This role offers the potential to become a founder of a transformative new venture.Ideation and ValidationCollaborate with the project lead to guide the ideation and validation of a new cleantech product/solutionConduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapeEngage with customer segments via qualitative and quantitative methods to understand their needsUnderstand how to best leverage the assets of our corporate partner to create a competitive advantageDevelopment and StrategyDevelop and implement business strategies, product roadmaps, and go-to-market plans that align with the partner's strategic objectivesLead the development and implementation of business plans, including market entry strategies, revenue models, and risk mitigation plans for new venturesWork with a cross-functional team to design and build a new product/solution using agile methodologiesLeadership and ManagementProvide strategic direction and leadership alongside the project leadManage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectivelyStakeholder Engagement and CommunicationEngage with investors, partners, and other stakeholders to secure funding and strategic supportCo-create and present business plans and progress reports to senior management and partnersBuild and maintain strong relationships with industry experts, customers, and partnersCo-create an investment note communicating the insights generated to obtain corporate board endorsementRequirementsProven experience in building and scaling successful products, preferably in the cleantech sectorStrong entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of launching and growing new venturesDeep understanding of the cleantech industry, including emerging trends and technologiesLeadership, team-building and project management skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and adaptable to shifting priorities Preferred Qualifications Degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related fieldStrong network within the clean tech/climate communityBenefitsOpportunity to become a co-founder of a high-impact cleantech venture and a high equity optionWork with a passionate and talented team dedicated to making a differenceAccess to resources and support from our established company to ensure your success
