Job Description:The Assistant General Manager will work closely with the General Manager to provide administrative and operational support, facilitate communication, and ensure efficient coordination of business activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations and administrative tasks, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, screening inquiries and handling correspondence on behalf of the General Manager.Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and other documents as requested by the General Manager, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.Coordinate and follow up on action items from meetings, track deadlines, and provide status updates to ensure timely execution of tasks.Conduct research and analysis on various topics as assigned by the General Manager, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.Assist in project management activities, including organizing project timelines, tracking progress, and facilitating communication between team members.Liaise with department heads and team members to gather information, coordinate initiatives, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and exercise discretion in handling confidential matters.Support the General Manager in special projects, initiatives, and ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.5 to 7 years of experience in an administrative or assistant role, preferably supporting senior executives or management teams.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources.Proactive and resourceful with a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
