With a strong focus on delivering exceptional returns for our clients, we are dedicated to providing innovative investment solutions and superior client service.Job Description:As a Fund Manager at AE Capital Investment, you will be responsible for managing investment portfolios, including funds focused on gold trading, futures, commodities, and other asset classes. Working closely with the executive team, you will leverage your expertise in financial markets to drive investment strategies, optimize portfolio performance, and deliver superior returns for our clients.Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Management: Manage investment portfolios, including mutual funds, hedge funds, and other investment vehicles, in accordance with established investment objectives, strategies, and risk parameters.Investment Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of financial markets, economic trends, and asset classes, identifying investment opportunities and risks to inform portfolio decisions.Asset Allocation: Develop and implement asset allocation strategies based on market conditions, risk tolerance, and investment objectives, optimizing portfolio diversification and risk-adjusted returns.Trade Execution: Execute buy/sell orders and trades in accordance with portfolio strategies, ensuring timely and efficient implementation of investment decisions while minimizing transaction costs and market impact.Risk Management: Monitor portfolio risk metrics, such as volatility, value-at-risk (VAR), and tracking error, and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect capital and enhance portfolio performance.Performance Monitoring: Monitor portfolio performance relative to benchmarks and peer groups, analyzing performance attribution and identifying opportunities for performance improvement through active management and tactical adjustments.Client Communication: Communicate investment strategies, performance updates, and market insights to clients and stakeholders, building trust and confidence in the fund's investment approach and results.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, investment guidelines, and internal policies and procedures, maintaining a strong culture of compliance and risk management within the fund management team.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven track record of success as a fund manager or investment professional, with experience managing portfolios in the asset management industry, preferably with a focus on gold trading, futures, commodities, or related markets.Strong analytical skills and quantitative proficiency, with the ability to conduct thorough investment research, financial modeling, and risk analysis.Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a keen understanding of investment principles, portfolio management techniques, and market dynamics.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment concepts and strategies to clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, CFA) and professional certifications preferred.Previous experience working in the Middle East, particularly in Dubai or the GCC region, is advantageous.
