JOB DESCRIPTIONWood is currently recruiting for a PMC Senior Civil and Structural Engineer based in Abu Dhabi to support ADNOC Offshore project.RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and enhance the discipline through implementation of best practice in people management, systems, and business processes Ensure technical accuracy and integrity of the design engineering carried out by the discipline Provide staff resources with appropriate skills for the project and business requirements Manage the PMC Civil team objectives and budget Participate during constructability reviews Act as a discipline focal point for all technical matters and act as an overall technical focal point on assigned projects Review designs for facilities and their associated infrastructure Cooperate with other disciplines to ensure the timely realization of competitive, achievable and serviceable solutions, including their Production Information Documentation Apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to make adaptations and modifications to solve technical problems that arise Contribute to and participate in formal and informal design reviews and the development of engineering changes Execute the design process to realize the project, product and program plans Create designs that meet the specifications within the constraints given in the project plan Generate adequate Product Documentation to qualify, integrate, produce, and test product Collect and analyze information to report timely required information to different users and management Provide regular status reporting to applicable management and departments to enable them to take required action QUALIFICATIONS A degree in Civil Engineering Minimum of 15 years' experience in major oil / gas projects in similar position or lead / principal civil engineer with engineering contractor / PMC organization Recent experience in a similar role for a large-scale oil and gas project Adequate knowledge of all international codes, standards and other construction practices to be utilized during EPC phases of project execution Additional experience with Middle East projects is preferable ABOUT USWood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
