JOB DESCRIPTIONWood is currently recruiting for a PMC Senior Civil and Structural Engineer based in Abu Dhabi to support ADNOC Offshore project.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and enhance the discipline through implementation of best practice in people management, systems, and business processesEnsure technical accuracy and integrity of the design engineering carried out by the disciplineProvide staff resources with appropriate skills for the project and business requirementsManage the PMC Civil team objectives and budgetParticipate during constructability reviewsAct as a discipline focal point for all technical matters and act as an overall technical focal point on assigned projectsReview designs for facilities and their associated infrastructureCooperate with other disciplines to ensure the timely realization of competitive, achievable and serviceable solutions, including their Production Information DocumentationApply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to make adaptations and modifications to solve technical problems that ariseContribute to and participate in formal and informal design reviews and the development of engineering changesExecute the design process to realize the project, product and program plansCreate designs that meet the specifications within the constraints given in the project planGenerate adequate Product Documentation to qualify, integrate, produce, and test productCollect and analyze information to report timely required information to different users and managementProvide regular status reporting to applicable management and departments to enable them to take required action

QUALIFICATIONSA degree in Civil EngineeringMinimum of 15 years' experience in major oil / gas projects in similar position or lead / principal civil engineer with engineering contractor / PMC organizationRecent experience in a similar role for a large-scale oil and gas projectAdequate knowledge of all international codes, standards and other construction practices to be utilized during EPC phases of project executionAdditional experience with Middle East projects is preferableABOUT USWood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
