Job SummaryAs a Diamond Associate-RDE, you will undergo a comprehensive 12- 15-month training program that prepares individuals for the role of Regional Design Engineer (RDE). The program will provide the fundamentals as well as in-depth knowledge to help develop strong functional and technical expertise engineers.As an RDE, you will play a crucial role in the engineering team, responsible for delivering world class innovative drill bit design solutions to meet customer needs. This position demands an in-depth understanding of the drilling process, including drilling optimization, drill bit design, geology, and critical thinking.This role requires a strong desire to embrace new challenges and a drive to continuously enhance technical and interpersonal skills.ResponsibilitiesAll tasks are carried out in accordance with Engineering group policies and quality procedures under the leadership of the Engineering Manager.Technical support for drill bit design features, selection and application - the RDE will be the local expert for internal and external customers for drill bit product development and application. Design of fixed cutter product in cooperation with DSE, Sales and external customers (client Drilling Engineers). Proven record of utilization of commercially available CAD systems.
