Job PurposeStarting in 2017, Emirates Flight Training Academy has grown and now has a fleet of 22 Cirrus single-engine aircraft, 3 DA42, and 5 Phenom VLJs. Currently, we have 290 cadets on course and expect to grow this number to 400+ by 2026.The Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist will provide implementation of learning and development solutions for Maths and Physics within the Aviation Science course for cadets at EFTA to support business goals. You will ensure content, quality, and delivery are as per the programme design and predefined standards, and any required changes are documented.
Role Responsibilities
Adhere to the predefined training and development framework.Diagnose learning and performance gaps, recommend, design, develop, and deliver innovative solutions, and evaluate business impact.Consistently achieve excellent customer satisfaction and meet agreed KPIs.Analyze and record changes to the business environment and update training programme content accordingly.Take ownership of agreed performance objectives, competencies, and development plans.Actively pursue self-directed learning to remain current and in line with industry best practices.Implement plans in alignment with the departmental mission, values, goals, and policies.Establish and maintain effective ongoing relationships with key contacts in business units and external entities.Deliver assigned L&D projects on time, within budget, and meeting customer expectations.
Qualifications & ExperienceTo be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).5 years proven subject matter expertise in a specialist role.Minimum 5 years practical experience in the delivery of mathematics and/or physics at a secondary school level.Specialization in Aviation, Marketing, Business, HRD, Education/Training, IT, English Language, or Leadership.Professional qualifications in training would be preferred.Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.Experience in an environment aligned to international audit and regulatory requirements.Project management knowledge and use of MS Office products.Practical working knowledge of learning and development processes and methodologies.
