Senior Manager – People & Culture (UAEN) – Aldar Education | Aldar Education Abu DhabiAs the leading education group in Abu Dhabi, we provide sustainable, inclusive and innovative learning that inspire and empower communities.Aldar Education is currently seeking a Senior Manager – People & Culture (UAE National) for Adnoc Schools.Senior Manager – People & Culture (UAEN) – Aldar Education | Aldar Education Abu Dhabi | Apply NowThis is an exciting opportunity to join the highly successful Aldar Education family of schools and to help shape the future of Abu Dhabi’s leading school group.The Cluster P&C – Senior Manager performs a variety of complex human resources duties on a professional level, partnering closely with other HQ senior P&C Management and various managers across a cluster of schools, in supporting HR processes and department-specific strategies.The Cluster P&C – Senior Manager leads workstreams in the following functional areas: attraction, retention, development, performance, reward, and operational excellence.The successful candidate will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region.ResponsibilitiesMain Duties:Functions collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, agile team and is an active participant in developing team goals, objectives and systemsAs part of the Senior P&C Team provides guidance and support to a cluster of schools’ leadership and management in human resources schools operation and improvementProvides support with regards to employee relations issues and offers advice, guidance and interpretation of P&C policies and procedures; communicates and implements new policy changes as requiredResponsible for the efficient and effective performance of the People and Culture functions within the schoolsSpecific Duties:Supports Principals and Schools leadership team with manpower planning and monitoring, staffing and CTC budgets, workforce profile models, report generation and updatesAdminister and oversee a cluster of schools’ recruitment and staffing plans and in accordance with the approved budgetOversees compliance with government regulatory authorities’ guidelines, and P&C related KPIsEnsure performance enablement cycles are being followed within school cluster and encourage a culture of feedback and where employees take responsibility for their learning and professional developmentReviews the P&C policies and procedures and recommends and implements changes to continuously improve the efficiency of P&C services in the schoolsGuides Principals, school cluster team and HROs on escalated P&C related matters if required, including complex case management and labour cases. Acts as Chair of investigation and other relevant committees or panels for such cases as required. Escalate to P&C HQ where requiredLeads the Wellbeing agenda for respective schools’ cluster, within Aldar Education strategies and policiesMaintains in-depth knowledge of employment legal requirements related to management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory complianceRepresents P&C in official meetings, workshops and seminars related to P&C related mattersEnsure that the P&C schools team maintain and update records and reports on key people data including terminations, classification changes, promotions, salary and benefits adjustments, etc., ensuring internal processes and good governance is maintainedIn conjunction with HQ Rewards Team provides consultation on salary and benefits administration and recommend appropriate actionsOversees the roll-out of Talent Management and development related activities and workstreams for schools, with strategic guidance from Aldar Education Talent TeamAct as P&C Lead for the contract intention and renewals process across the school cluster, ensuring school Leaders and HROs are supported and guided through correct company policy and processEnsures cluster team participates in Aldar Education group-wide Talent Acquisition initiatives including UAE National job fairs, Teacher recruitment fairs and other activities as are requiredParticipates in and leads P&C workshops for HROs, School Leaders and other staff as required on P&C related mattersPrepares and analyses quarterly reporting on school cluster turnover, employee exit data, and other HR metrics. Presents solutions or recommendations to leadership as appropriateResponsible for the monitoring and achievement, with School Leaders and HROs and. Cluster team for the Aldar Education Emiratization initiatives for UAE NationalsWorks closely with Government Relations to ensure schools are compliant with all relevant regulatory requirementsSupports in developing, maintaining, verifying and communicating organizational structures for the schoolsPerforms other duties/tasks as assigned and if requiredQualificationsMinimum Qualification:Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field requiredRecognized Human Resources accreditation (SHRM, CIPD) is preferrableMinimum Experience:Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Senior Generalist, HR Business Partner, or 7 years as an HR GeneralistEducation industry experience is preferredMinimum of 3 years of Management experience in leading Human Resources operations including leading and coaching direct and non-direct reportsExperience in a matrix-organisationStrong understanding of the UAE cultureExcellent English and Arabic speaking and writing skills essentialJob Specific Knowledge & Skills:Demonstrated expertise in several HR processes and practices (recruitment, labor relations, organizational development, people and leadership development, compensation, benefits, etc.)Excellent knowledge of employment laws, labor relationsHigh attention to detail and the ability to work effectively and manage a varied workloadGood knowledge about ADEK regulatory requirements preferredAbility to maintain the highest level of discretion, diplomacy and confidentialityAbility to maintain composure and handle multiple conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and communications skillsExperience working on and with human resource systems, applicant tracking systems, and learning and development systems such as Oracle, HR.net, etcDemonstrated ability to exercise judgment, decisiveness, and creativity in situations involving the evaluation of information against sensory, judgmental, or subjective criteria, as opposed to that which is clearly measurable or verifiableWork in a highly collaborative and effective manner, both independently and in cross-functional teamsProven influencing skills with employees and stakeholders at all levelsPossess flexibility and has a history of delivering results in a changing and highly ambiguous work environmentProven experience and success working on high impact, cross-functional programs or projects, with a strong sense of urgency and commitmentStrong research & analysis skillsStrong problem-solving skills, along with customer service and team orientation skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriateProficient in Microsoft Office softwareDon’t miss out on thisn’t m exciting opportunity – apply now at dubaiofferz.com
