We’re currently seeking a talented and experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you’re passionate about delivering top-notch IT support and have relevant experience, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:
End-User Equipment Support:
Install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and decommission IT assets, including laptops, printers, TVs, and other end-user devices.
Proactively diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to end-user devices.
Perform hardware and software installations, upgrades, and maintenance as needed.
Ensure that end-user equipment is up to date with the latest security patches and updates.
Meeting and Conference IT Support:
Set up, configure, and support the equipment and services for meetings and conferences.
Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during meetings, ensuring minimal disruption.
Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall meeting and conference experience through technology.
Issue and Service Request Management:
Maintain detailed records of IT support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for future reference.
Create and update documentation for end-users on common technical issues and solutions.
Customer Service:
Provide outstanding customer service by offering prompt and effective solutions to end-users’ IT issues.
Communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical users.
Proactive Monitoring and Maintenance:
Proactively identify and address potential IT issues to prevent disruptions.
Conduct regular system checks and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
Reporting and Collaboration:
Issue daily operational reports.
Requirements:
Proven experience in providing on-site IT support, troubleshooting, and maintenance (2+ years preferred).
Strong knowledge of hardware and software components of end-user equipment.
Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
The ability to clearly understand and respond to needs as communicated by other members of the team.
Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
Experience with audiovisual equipment and video conferencing systems is a plus.
