Key Responsibilities Craft innovative motor, power electronic, and thermal control algorithmsModel dynamic systems to validate stability and performanceCollaborate closely with hardware specialists to fine-tune the designWork with the team to determine the optimal sensors and hardware for controlsWrite control software for DSPs and FPGAsDesign and run a thorough test suite to ensure performance and reliabilityParticipate in dyno development and operationTroubleshoot and debug system issues through data analysisOversee supplier management and requirements definitionRequirementsBachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field5+ years of experience developing control algorithms for power systemsProficient in C/C++ programmingProven track record in motor control and/or power electronic control systemsDeep understanding of power converter topologies, modulation strategies, and sensor selectionModeling and simulating experienceSolid grasp of electrical schematics and control circuitryUnderstands DSPs and embedded systemsComfortable working with high voltage and dynamometer test equipment401kUnlimited Paid Time Off (this is not a marketing ploy, our client wants you to use it)12 weeks paid parental leave
