Joinour client as a trailblazing Controls Engineer, where youll havethe opportunity to unleash your creativity in defining andexecuting innovative control algorithms for electric motors andpower electronics. Your passion for hands-on involvement in theearliest stages of a company will be crucial as we push theboundaries of cutting-edge EVtechnology.

KeyResponsibilities
  • Craftinnovative motor, power electronic, and thermal controlalgorithms
  • Model dynamic systems tovalidate stability andperformance
  • Collaborate closely withhardware specialists to fine-tune thedesign
  • Work with the team todetermine the optimal sensors and hardware forcontrols
  • Write control software forDSPs and FPGAs
  • Design and run athorough test suite to ensure performance andreliability
  • Participate in dynodevelopment andoperation
  • Troubleshoot and debugsystem issues through dataanalysis
  • Oversee supplier managementand requirementsdefinition


Requirements
  • Bachelorsor Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a relatedfield
  • 5+ years of experiencedeveloping control algorithms for powersystems
  • Proficient in C/C++programming
  • Proven track record inmotor control and/or power electronic controlsystems
  • Deep understanding of powerconverter topologies, modulation strategies, and sensorselection
  • Modeling and simulatingexperience
  • Solid grasp of electricalschematics and controlcircuitry
  • Understands DSPs andembedded systems
  • Comfortable workingwith high voltage and dynamometer testequipment

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or arelated field 5+ years of experience developing control algorithmsfor power systems Proficient in C/C++ programming Proven trackrecord in motor control and/or power electronic control systemsDeep understanding of power converter topologies, modulationstrategies, and sensor selection Modeling and simulating experienceSolid grasp of electrical schematics and control circuitryUnderstands DSPs and embedded systems Comfortable working with highvoltage and dynamometer test equipment
