Key Responsibilities
- Partner with operations teams to implement workplace health and safety policies across site operations
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal safety standards
- Conduct risk assessments and analyze WHS data to identify improvement opportunities
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean and process optimization methods
- Deliver training and guidance to operations leaders and WHS team members
- Monitor site safety performance and recommend corrective actions where required
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote best practices and standard methodologies
- Develop and mentor WHS team members, ensuring alignment with company safety expectations
- Communicate safety goals, updates, and performance metrics clearly to all levels
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental science, ergonomics, or related field
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in WHS, EHS, or workplace safety programs
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and risk management
- Experience in logistics, distribution centers, or manufacturing environments preferred
- Proven leadership experience managing teams or multiple sites
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with data‑driven decision‑making ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including reporting, charts, and data analysis
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
- Professional certifications in WHS, EHS, or HSE are an advantage
