We're Hiring - Head of NetworksProcurement Location: Dubai Division: - Axian TelecomAxian Telecom is expanding its centralprocurement team and is looking for a dynamic Head of Networks Procurement to lead all procurement activities related to network infrastructure andtechnologies across multiple countries. Your MissionReporting directly to the Chief ProcurementOfficer, you will be a key leader in the central procurement organization,responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies for networkcategories including RAN, Core, and Transmission. You will ensure alignmentwith Axian Telecom's business objectives, lead a team of category managers andspecialists, and foster strong relationships with suppliers to drive value,innovation, and cost savings. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement procurement strategies for network infrastructure and technologies aligned with business needs.Lead and manage a diverse team of category managers and specialists across multiple countries, ensuring performance management and succession planning.Collaborate closely with technical and commercial teams to align procurement with network rollout and modernization plans.Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure supplier performance meets group standards.Champion the transition to a centralized procurement model, ensuring smooth alignment with local operations.Ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical, and sustainability standards in all procurement activities.Monitor and report on KPIs including cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement efficiency. Your Profile10+ years of procurement experience with significant exposure to telecommunications networks.Proven track record managing complex, high-value procurement categories across multiple geographies.Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.Familiarity with centralized procurement models, preferably in telecom or related industries.Solid knowledge of emerging telecom network technologies.Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
