By upholding our values of respect, excellence, collaboration and integrity; Al-Futtaim Group continues to enrich the lives and aspirations of our customers each and every dayOverview of the role :Senior Procurement Engineer will conduct sub contract procurement activities for various projects in order to ensure effective and timely delivery of the projectWhat you will do : Purchasing activitiesProcess subcontract enquiries to ensure subcontract packages are procured in a timely and cost-effective manner.Prepare Subcontract ITT in line with policy and procedures.Check prequalification of new subcontractors.Vendor managementParticipate in negotiations with suppliers to obtain the best cost and lead time offerings.Conduct performance evaluations for suppliers to maintain quality services and products.Develop and maintain the supplier database to ensure all data and offerings are updated.Operational accountabilitiesEnsure all relevant safety, quality, and environmental procedures, instructions, and controls are followed to guarantee safety, service quality, and environmental compliance within AFCRequired skills to be succesfulExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAttention to detailExcellent negotiation and vendor management skillsAnalytical thinking and problem-solving abilityStrong documentation capabilityWhat qualifies you for the job :Bachelor degree in Civil EngineeringMinimum 10 years of experence with a Main Contractor in UAExperience in material and subcontractor procurementAbout Al-Futtaim ContractingAl-Futtaim Engineering & Technologies offers customers complete engineering and systems integration solutions.
