A renowned 5-star hotel in Sharjah is seeking a highly skilled and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team We are looking for an experienced and passionate individual to lead our pastry kitchen and be responsible for creating unique and delicious desserts for our guestsAs the Head Pastry Chef you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pastry department including menu planning recipe development purchasing ingredients and managing a team of pastry chefs You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and presentation as well as ensuring compliance with health and safety regulationsThe ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Pastry Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant A degree or certification in pastry arts or a related field is preferred The candidate should also have excellent leadership skills strong creativity and the ability to work under pressureKey ResponsibilitiesPlan and create innovative dessert menus that cater to different dietary requirementsOversee all aspects of the pastry kitchen including ordering supplies managing inventory and maintaining equipmentTrain and manage a team of pastry chefs to ensure high-quality standards are metCreate new recipes and continuously innovate dessert offeringsMonitor food costs and maintain budget guidelinesEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations at all timesCollaborate with other departments to create special desserts for events or special occasionsRequirementsMinimum 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurantDegree or certification in pastry arts or related field preferredStrong knowledge of different baking techniques and ingredientsExcellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectivelyCreative mindset with the ability to continuously develop new dessertsStrong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standardsFluent in English knowledge of other languages is a plusWe offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month and a chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment This position is open to Indian nationals who are fluent in EnglishIf you have a passion for pastry and are ready for a new challenge we would love to hear from you
