A renowned 5-star hotel in Sharjah is seeking a highly skilled and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team We are looking for an experienced and passionate individual to lead our pastry kitchen and be responsible for creating unique and delicious desserts for our guests

As the Head Pastry Chef you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pastry department including menu planning recipe development purchasing ingredients and managing a team of pastry chefs You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and presentation as well as ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Pastry Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant A degree or certification in pastry arts or a related field is preferred The candidate should also have excellent leadership skills strong creativity and the ability to work under pressure

Key Responsibilities

Plan and create innovative dessert menus that cater to different dietary requirements
Oversee all aspects of the pastry kitchen including ordering supplies managing inventory and maintaining equipment
Train and manage a team of pastry chefs to ensure high-quality standards are met
Create new recipes and continuously innovate dessert offerings
Monitor food costs and maintain budget guidelines
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Collaborate with other departments to create special desserts for events or special occasions

Requirements

Minimum 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant
Degree or certification in pastry arts or related field preferred
Strong knowledge of different baking techniques and ingredients
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
Creative mindset with the ability to continuously develop new desserts
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
Fluent in English knowledge of other languages is a plus

We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month and a chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment This position is open to Indian nationals who are fluent in English
