Test Environment Manager

As a Test Environment Manager / Environment Lead supporting enterprise banking transformations in the UAE via ESOL Global, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of test environment governance, deployment coordination, and infrastructure stability. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing and governing UAT, SIT, and Pre-Production environments, providing robust environment support, setting up environment monitoring tools, and delivering dashboard reports to stakeholders. You will coordinate closely with infrastructure and server teams, execute code synchronization and release management across web and mobile applications, Finacle, Prime 4, middleware platforms, and Microsoft technologies. Furthermore, you will manage third-party vendor relationships, resolve cross-system dependencies, maintain technical documentation, and ensure seamless availability of all test stages.

• Oversee end-to-end test environment management, governance, configuration control, and scheduling across all testing stages.
• Provide dedicated support and maintenance for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and Pre-Production environments.
• Implement robust environment monitoring tools, health checks, and dashboard reporting for executive stakeholders.
• Coordinate infrastructure, server provisioning, database allocation, and network connectivity with IT operations.
• Manage code deployments, branch synchronization, build releases, and release management workflows.
• Provide application architecture support across web and mobile applications, core banking, and middleware platforms.
• Coordinate seamlessly with external vendors, internal development squads, and project stakeholders.
• Maintain meticulous environment documentation, configuration baselines, and incident logs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years of professional hands‑on experience in Test Environment Management, Release Management, or IT Infrastructure leadership.
• Strong proven experience in managing UAT, SIT, Pre-Production, and Testing environments specifically within the Banking domain.
• Deep technical exposure to core banking applications (specifically Finacle and Prime 4).
• Solid working knowledge of web and mobile application architectures, middleware platforms, and Microsoft technologies.
• Proven proficiency in environment monitoring, deployment automation, and release coordination tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation skills.
• Mandatory current physical presence and legal work authorization / residency in the UAE.

• Professional certifications in ITIL Service Management, Project Management (PMP), or Agile Scrum Master (CSM).
• Prior professional working experience in tier-1 financial institutions, retail banks, or enterprise IT consultancy firms across the UAE.
• Familiarity with CI/CD automation pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in cloud-based test environment provisioning (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code.
