Accounting Clerk

Job Summary:
We are seeking an accurate and organized Accounting Clerk to support the accounting department by maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with clerical accounting tasks. The Accounting Clerk ensures financial data is recorded correctly and consistently in compliance with company standards and applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
- Prepare, type, and maintain accounting documents and financial records.
- Enter financial transactions and data into the accounting system accurately.
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and summaries.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal teams.
- Maintain organized financial files and documentation.
- Perform other accounting-related tasks and assignments as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in accounting support or clerical roles is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
