As a Receiving & Store Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming goods and supplies for our hotel. Key responsibilities include:Receive, verify, and inspect incoming goods against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in quality and quantityDocument discrepancies or damages, and report them to appropriate departmentsMaintain accurate records and complete daily receiving logs for both food and non-food itemsCollaborate with various departments, including Accounts Payable and Purchasing, to ensure smooth operationsAdhere to HACCP standards in all aspects of product handling and storageMaintain a clean and organized receiving areaPerform other duties as assigned by managementQualificationsCollege diploma or equivalent qualifications with previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate environmentKnowledge of Materials Control, inventory management practices, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentPhysical ability to lift and move items of varying weights, with basic math skills for accurate counting and measuringExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively across departmentsFamiliarity with HACCP standards and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities are a plusAdditional InformationReceiving & Store Clerk for Mercure Abu Dhabi Downtown
