Role Overview:
The Head of Broker Network is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organization's broker relationships, ensuring seamless execution of trades, and driving strategic initiatives to achieve market coverage and cost efficiency goals set by senior management. This role requires a combination of strategic oversight, analytical rigor, and hands-on execution to ensure the firm leverages the best broker and custodian networks across domestic and international markets.
- Overall responsible for maintaining executing broker relationships and implementing and achieving market coverage goals set by the Management.
- Shortlisting and adding brokers in new and existing markets in line with Management requirement
- Analyzing brokers' performance in order to select and channel orders to the best fit while optimizing cost to the firm
- Maintaining a master cost sheet for all brokers and custodians
- Liaising with brokers and custodians on issues that are escalated by other teams
- Implementing changes to the system in order to capture the accurate cost for existing and new markets/products
- Providing cost benefit analysis to Management when required
