The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating leads, conducting product demos, and maintaining relationships with clients in the B2B sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives
- Conduct outside sales activities including cold calling and direct sales to generate new business
- Manage existing accounts while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Utilize CRM software, such as Salesforce, to track leads, manage customer relationships, and analyze sales data
- Perform product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential clients
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the territory
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process to ensure client satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales or business development, preferably in technology or B2B sales
- Strong account management skills with a focus on building long-term relationships
- Familiarity with CRM software and territory management tools
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully
- Ability to generate leads through various channels including networking, referrals, and cold calling
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and customer needs effectively
- Experience in direct sales, inside sales, or retail sales is a plus
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos that highlight key features and benefits
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong customer service orientation
