We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relationship Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with corporate & commercial banking clients in the UAE.

Responsibilities:

  1. Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate & commercial banking clients in the UAE. Serve as the primary point of contact, building trust and providing exceptional service and support throughout the entire banking relationship.
  2. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the bank's corporate & commercial banking client base. Leverage existing networks and actively engage in business development activities to drive growth and revenue.
  3. Portfolio Growth: Develop strategies to grow the asset and liability books for the corporate, wealth, and digital asset portfolios. Cross-sell a comprehensive range of products and services, including corporate banking, wealth management, trade finance, cash management, treasury, and digital assets solutions.
  4. Risk Management: Conduct thorough credit assessments and risk analysis for new and existing clients. Ensure adherence to credit policies and guidelines while effectively managing credit risk exposure. Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance to maintain overall credit quality.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including product specialists, risk management, legal, compliance, and operations teams, to deliver integrated solutions to clients. Contribute actively to cross-functional teams and support the bank's strategic objectives.
  6. Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes in the corporate, wealth, and digital asset sectors. Utilize market insights to provide strategic advice and customized solutions to clients, positioning the bank as a trusted partner.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in building and managing strong relationships with corporate & commercial banking clients in the UAE. A verifiable track record of developing multi-billion asset and liability books is essential.
  2. Industry Experience: Extensive experience in corporate/commercial banking and good understanding of wealth management in UAE market is preferred. In-depth knowledge of relevant products, services, fintech and market dynamics.
  3. Financial Acumen: Strong financial analysis skills and the ability to assess creditworthiness, financial statements, and risk factors. Familiarity with digital assets and emerging technologies in the financial industry.
  4. Business Development Skills: Proven ability to identify and convert business opportunities. Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with a demonstrated ability to cross-sell multiple products and drive revenue growth.
  5. Communication and Presentation: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively present complex financial solutions to clients and stakeholders.
  6. Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a startup environment. Strong leadership qualities and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  7. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications such as CFA, ACCA, or similar would be advantageous.
