Job Title: Logistics Manager – Import & Export

Location: Dubai-UAE

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Logistics Manager with strong knowledge of freight forwarding, air freight operations and storage services.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent knowledge of the Dubai Free Zone sector (DAFZA, DWC, JAFZA, etc.), along with expertise in import/export procedures, DG shipments the UAE logistics industry.

Candidates with experience in Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA) operations will be given top priority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end Import & Export operations Air Freight. Manage daily export shipments and ensure timely booking with airlines.
  • Handle DG (Dangerous Goods) shipments as per GCAA / IATA regulations.
  • Coordinate daily with DNATA, DAFZA, Dubai Customs, airlines and cargo terminals.
  • Prepare and verify documentation: MAWB, HAWB, AWB, Invoice, Packing List, DG Declaration, Export/Import Declarations, BOE.
  • Use operational systems: Calogi, Dubai Trade, DAFZA Portal, E-Mirsal 2, Airline booking systems.
  • Monitor cargo acceptance, handling, customs clearance, and on-time delivery to clients.
  • Ensure proper warehouse handling receiving, storage, labeling, weighing and dispatching.
  • Supervise warehouse team, operations staff, and drivers allocate tasks and monitor performance.
  • Maintain compliance with DAFZA rules, Customs regulations, GCAA requirements and DG safety standards.
  • Communicate with customers, provide shipment updates and resolve any operational issues.
  • Negotiate with airlines, transporters and suppliers for competitive rates.
  • Control operational costs and verify all vendor invoices.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly shipment reports and update management.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years experience in freight forwarding Import & Export (air cargo experience mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of DAFZA procedures, DNATA processes, Dubai Customs, Dubai Trade, Calogi.
  • DG handling experience and understanding of IATA DG regulations.
  • Excellent communication, multitasking and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple shipments efficiently.
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding, customs handling and international shipping regulations.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Language: English
