Job Summary:

The Project Engineer/ Fit-Out Engineer is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and executing all interior & Exterior works in accordance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards. This role involves managing Main Contractor, subcontractors, ensuring compliance with design intent, quality assurance, and liaising with contractor, consultants, and other stakeholders to deliver a high-quality finished product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all site activities, including structure, partitions, ceilings, flooring, MEP coordination, and finishes.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and material specifications to ensure compliance with design and project standards.
  • Monitor work progress against schedules and report any delays or issues to the Management.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with health and safety standards on site.
  • Coordinate with MEP and structural teams to resolve any design or construction conflicts.
  • Prepare Look ahead program, daily site reports, Weekly reports, and other documentation as required.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure high standards of workmanship.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of work.
  • Support project handover activities, including snagging, testing, and commissioning.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction projects (Residential & Commercial).
  • Strong knowledge of Finishing materials, fit-out materials, construction methods, and finishing standards.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
