About the role

Are you a detail-oriented engineer with a passion for creating winning proposals? We're looking for a
Proposal Engineer
to join our team in
Dubai
and play a key role in developing competitive, accurate, and high-quality bids for our clients.

As a Proposal Engineer, you'll work closely with colleagues across sales, engineering, procurement, and project management to deliver proposals that meet both technical and commercial requirements. This is a dynamic role where analytical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills come together to make an impact.

What You'll Do

  • Analyse tender documents and customer requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals in response to RFQs and tenders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, finance) to gather the necessary input.
  • Ensure all proposals comply with client specifications, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Perform cost estimation and risk analysis to support decision-making.
  • Support sales teams during bid clarification and negotiation phases.
  • Maintain bid documentation, records, and standard templates.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of bid processes and tools.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant IT tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
  • A keen eye for detail, accuracy, and structure.

It's a Plus If You Have

  • Experience in proposal or bid management within industries such as marine, oil & gas, or building construction.
  • Familiarity with contract terms, procurement processes, and client specifications.
  • Knowledge of project costing, estimation, and budgeting.
