We are seeking a Consulting Director, or Principal Consultant, to join our growing Industrial Decarbonisation team in the UAE. This is a unique opportunity to lead transformative projects across the Middle East, working with governments, industrial clusters, and private sector clients on cutting-edge technologies such as hydrogen, CCUS, and electrification.

What You'll Do

As a Consulting Director/Principal Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in both winning and delivering strategic consultancy projects. Your work will span:

• Business Strategy, Policy & Roadmaps: Advising clients on decarbonisation pathways and market positioning.
• Technoeconomic Analysis: Evaluating the feasibility and impact of emerging technologies.
• Client Engagement: Acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for key clients.
• Project Leadership: Managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outputs on time and within budget.
• Business Development: Identifying opportunities, leading proposal development, and expanding our client base across the region.
• Thought Leadership: Contributing to market strategy and building ERM's reputation in the industrial decarbonisation space.

What You Bring

We're looking for a driven and strategic thinker with:

• A degree in a relevant field (Master's or higher preferred).
• Experience in management consulting, energy transition, or industrial decarbonisation.
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects and build strong client relationships.
• Expertise in one or more decarbonisation pathways (e.g., CCUS, electrification, hydrogen, heat networks).
• Strong commercial acumen and a passion for sustainability.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distil complex ideas for diverse audiences.
• Experience mentoring or line managing junior staff is a plus.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or other regional languages are a bonus.
