Compliance Manager – DeFi / Digital Assets

Abu Dhabi, UAE

We're hiring a Compliance Manager to build and run a fit-for-purpose compliance framework for a fast-growing DeFi and digital assets business.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in on-chain risk, AML/CFT, sanctions, and Travel Rule, who can embed compliance into product design while supporting innovation at scale.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and operate DeFi & digital asset compliance frameworks
  • Own on-chain transaction monitoring, wallet screening, and Travel Rule controls
  • Manage blockchain-specific financial crime risks (sanctions, illicit finance, protocol abuse)
  • Support regulatory engagement, licensing, and audits
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Risk teams

What we're looking for

  • 7–10+ years in compliance, financial crime, or regulatory roles
  • Strong experience in crypto, DeFi, or blockchain-based financial services
  • Proven track record building compliance frameworks in regulated or greenfield environments
