Title: Sales Manager – Modular Prefabricated Building Solutions

Department: Sales & Business Development – POD / Modular Prefabricated

Division Reports To: Division Manager – POD

Location: UAE (with GCC travel as required)

1. Position Overview

The Sales Manager – Modular Prefabricated Building Solutions is responsible for leading and expanding Metaform's business in Modular Prefabricated Building Solutions, Modular PODs, Immersion-Cooled Data Center PODs, Prefabricated Structures, and Industrial Modular Solutions.

This role focuses on developing new markets, managing key client relationships, achieving revenue targets, and driving strategic growth across the UAE and GCC.

2. Key Responsibilities.

A. Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy for Smart Modular Solutions (Data Center PODs, Smart Offices, Modular Housing, MEP-integrated modules, and Specialized Prefab Units).
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across government, semi-government, EPC contractors, consultants, and private developers.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, pipelines, and monthly/quarterly performance reports.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline aligned with company targets and operational capacity.

B. Client & Market Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, consultants, and partners.
  • Conduct regular client visits, project site visits, and product presentations.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to enhance Metaform's product offering.

C. Proposal, Pricing & Contract Support

  • Coordinate with Engineering, Estimation, and Production teams to prepare quotations, technical submittals, and project proposals.
  • Lead negotiations for pricing, contract terms, delivery schedules, and payment milestones.
  • Ensure all proposals comply with company pricing strategy and profitability standards.

D. Project Coordination

  • Work closely with Operations, Design, Procurement, and Production teams for smooth project handover.
  • Ensure that client expectations, project commitments, and delivery timelines are clearly communicated.
  • Support project meetings and monitor project progress from sales handover to completion.

E. Reporting, Documentation & CRM

  • Maintain updated records in CRM (pipeline, leads, opportunities, customer interactions).
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
  • Provide management with insights on revenue forecasting, risks, and opportunities.

F. Strategic Growth & Partnerships

  • Develop partnerships with technology providers, modular solution innovators, and engineering firms.
  • Participate in tenders, RFP submissions, exhibitions, and industry events to promote Metaform.

3. Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of modular construction, prefabricated buildings, POD manufacturing, or related industries (MEP, Data Centers, Steel Fabrication).
  • Understanding of project procurement cycles, tendering, and BOQ/technical drawings.
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder B2B projects.

Sales & Leadership Skills

  • Strong selling, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to generate new business and close high-value deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in leading a small sales team or coordinating with cross-functional departments.

4. Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical) or Business Management.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience in Modular Construction, Engineering Solutions, Data Center PODs, MEP solutions, or Industrial Manufacturing.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
  • UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
  • Valid UAE driving license.

5. KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

  • Monthly & annual revenue target achievement.
  • New client acquisition and market penetration.
  • Conversion rate from inquiry → quotation → contract.
  • Sales pipeline health and forecasting accuracy.
  • Client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Contribution to strategic partnerships and long-term growth.
