Role Overview

The Director of Commercial Strategy is a senior executive leadership role with full accountability for Jannah Hotels & Resorts' end-to-end commercial performance across all properties.

This role oversees revenue strategy, sales effectiveness, brand positioning, digital and E-commerce growth, and centralised reservations excellence. You will translate corporate vision into clear, actionable commercial strategies, align multi-property execution, and drive sustainable growth across Corporate, Travel Trade, Leisure, Groups, MICE, Long-Stay and Digital channels.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a commercially astute leader who can balance strategic thinking with disciplined execution.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute a group-wide commercial and growth strategy aligned with long-term business objectives
  • Drive top-line performance through optimisation of occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and business mix
  • Identify new market opportunities, strategic partnerships and expansion initiatives

Revenue, Pricing & Distribution Excellence

  • Lead multi-property revenue management, forecasting and yield optimisation
  • Establish dynamic pricing strategies based on market demand, seasonality and competitor intelligence
  • Optimise distribution channels, inventory control and booking conversion

Digital, E-Commerce & Direct Revenue Growth

  • Accelerate E-commerce performance through advanced direct-booking strategies and digital innovation
  • Strengthen online visibility, conversion and cost-efficient channel performance
  • Leverage data and analytics to drive audience targeting and booking behaviour insights

Sales & Relationship-Driven Growth

  • Elevate Corporate and Travel Trade sales through strategic account development and relationship management
  • Provide strong leadership across all sales segments including Leisure, Groups, MICE, Long-Stay and Wholesale
  • Represent Jannah Hotels & Resorts at key industry forums, roadshows and stakeholder engagements

Central Reservations Ownership

  • Lead the centralised Reservations function as a core revenue conversion engine
  • Oversee daily selling behaviour, enquiry handling, call quality and conversion performance
  • Ensure seamless alignment between demand generation and real-time revenue capture

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build, mentor and inspire high-performing teams across Sales, Revenue, Reservations and E-Commerce
  • Foster a culture of accountability, analytical discipline and innovation
  • Present commercial performance, insights and growth strategies to senior leadership and ownership


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field
  • 10–15+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience in hospitality
  • Proven multi-property and UAE market experience
  • Strong background in revenue management, digital distribution, and strategic sales leadership
  • Track record of driving measurable improvements in occupancy, ADR, and revenue mix
  • Confident communicator with strong executive presence and stakeholder influence
