Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality, cost, and delivery terms.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for a diverse range of products, from crockery to engineering supplies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising on quality or service.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and manage contracts to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Procurement Executive, Officer, or similar role, preferably within the trading, hospitality supply, or engineering sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of vendor sourcing and negotiation practices.
  • Excellent understanding of inventory management principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with procurement software is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A relevant degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
