Assist in preparing quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings, specifications, and BOQs for civil and MEP works.
Support senior quantity surveyors in BOQ preparation, cost estimates, and tender documentation.
Measure and verify quantities based on approved drawings and actual site conditions.
Assist in preparing interim payment certificates (IPCs) and monthly valuations under supervision.
Track material quantities and support cost control by comparing estimated versus actual usage.
Review drawings and identify quantity discrepancies or scope changes for clarification.
Assist in preparing variation quantity backup and supporting documents.
Coordinate with site engineers and drafting teams to obtain accurate and updated drawings.
Maintain measurement records, quantity sheets, and cost-related documentation.
Support preparation of reports related to quantities, material consumption, and project progress.
Comply with company procedures, measurement standards, and project documentation requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
1 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost support roles (freshers with relevant training may be considered). Basic knowledge of quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and measurement methods for civil and/or MEP works. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately. Familiarity with MS Excel and quantity take-off tools such as PlanSwift or similar software. Understanding of site execution processes and coordination with engineers and draftsmen. Attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills. Willingness to learn cost control, valuations, and contract administration under supervision. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a project team. Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced construction environment.
