Summary
Job Description

We are looking for a diligent MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects from initial calculations to the final figures.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and review detailed cost estimates for MEP projects.
  • Analyze drawings and specifications to accurately estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs.
  • Conduct cost analysis, cost control, and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure cost-effective solutions and timely completion of projects.
  • Provide regular financial progress reports to management and clients.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and changes to ensure accurate cost estimations.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, specifically in MEP projects.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and construction methods.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems

  • Proficiency in quantity surveying techniques and principles
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
